• Teach one semester of beginning band to a small group of new middle school students.
• Provide instructional support to music teachers in large group, small group, and one to one setting as needed.
• Provide piano accompaniment support to individual and group music rehearsals.
• Provide administrative support for concert and event planning, including setting up online ticketing (training provided), creating programmes and visuals, and assisting with poster display and printing of promotional materials.
• Prepare and make learning materials and music scores ready for lessons.
• Perform classroom differentiated instruction and support to beginner music class students as and when required.
• Willingness to engage in administrative tasks that are core to Performing Arts Department’s operation, such as inventories, music library, instrument rentals, student lockers, etc.

Work arrangements:
• 10:00am to 3:00pm during normal school days
• There are around 10 musical events to be held in the evenings for 1-2 hours every school year

• Strong commitment to Christian and music education, with a positive attitude and a growth
mindset.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Music or related disciplines. Holders of a bachelor’s degree in education or music education awarded by an accredited university will be an advantage.
• A holder of ABRSM Piano Grade 8 or equivalent, and experience in accompaniment.
• Experience teaching woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments to beginner students.
• Able to demonstrate musical concepts on one or more woodwind, brass, or percussion instruments
• Experience in working with students with varying music competence is highly preferred
• Good at sight-reading and able to provide piano accompaniment to choral ensembles
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English
• Able to manage classroom and group practices, and handle emergency situations in accordance with appropriate child safety protocols and a calm demeanor.
